N2  - Die moderne Arbeitswelt erfordert neue Kompetenzen, insbesondere im kognitiven, sozialen und technologischen Bereich. Die angestrebten Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts ‚pro-kom‘ sollen kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) dazu befähigen, zukünftige Kompetenzbedarfe frühzeitig zu identifizieren und bestehende Lücken zu schließen. Mithilfe eines Kompetenzprognose-Tools sollen KMU so in die Lage versetzt werden, ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit in der gegenwärtigen, sich kontinuierlich verändernden Arbeitswelt zu erhalten. Mit diesem Ziel ist das AiF-Projekt ‚pro-kom‘ mit einer Laufzeit von zwei Jahren gestartet. Die Grundlage für das Projekt bildet eine Analyse der relevanten Kompetenzen sowie Kompetenzmodelle. In den durchgeführten Expert:inneninterviews wurden zudem die Relevanz des Themas und die Herausforderungen bei der Implementierung von Kompetenzmanagement deutlich. Darüber hinaus zeigte sich, dass das Thema Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) bei KMU zwar auf Interesse stößt, die praktische Umsetzung jedoch bislang eine untergeordnete Rolle spielt.
N2  - The modern world of work requires new skills, particularly in the cognitive, social, and technological areas. The intended results of the 'pro-kom' research project should enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to identify future skills requirements at an early stage and close existing gaps.
With the help of a skills forecasting tool, SMEs should be able to maintain their competitiveness in the constantly changing world of work. The AiF project 'pro-kom' was launched with this aim in mind and is scheduled to run for two years. The basis for the project is an analysis of the relevant skills and competency models. The expert interviews conducted for the project highlighted the relevance of the topic and the challenges involved in implementing skills management. In addition, it became clear that although the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) is arousing interest among SMEs, practical implementation has so far played only a minor role.
